photographic images
The images shown as thumbnails (each of which links to a higher-resolution image) below formed part of the installation 'Each Pebble Its Part' which was commissioned by Ephemeral House, Sedbergh with support from the National Lottery through Arts Council England in 2007 and shown at Ephemeral House in June 2008 and as part of the Sonic Arts Network's EXPO festival in Brighton in July 2008. All the images are made from photographs taken in the first half of 2008 along the course of the River Rawthey from its source high on Baugh Fell at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales to its confluence with the Lune west of Sedbergh. For more information, please click this link.
The images are available for sale as A3 size high-resolution (1440 dpi) inkjet prints on Epson ColorLife paper with a sheet size of 329 x 483 mm and an image size of slightly less than A3. Epson claim that, under glass, the image can last 25 or so years without significant fading.
Each print costs £25 (including VAT) unframed; if you're local, I'll drop it round, and if you want it posting I will send it rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube for £3 (inc. VAT). I don't want to send framed images through the post, but if you're local and want it framed in a 40 x 50 cm plain birch frame under glass, with acid-free mount, that costs an extra £30 (inc. VAT). Please send cheques payable to A Chapple to me at 4 Highfield House, Sedbergh, Cumbria LA10 5DE. If you live abroad or want to use PayPal, please email me (the address is on the contact page).
